Fitness is not who you are. It’s what you practice.

Founder & Coach

Alex’s journey into fitness began during his junior year of college at the University of Vermont after suffering three disc herniations, two in his lumbar spine and one in his cervical spine. This injury left him unable to walk to class without immense sciatic nerve pain and moments when the vertebrae would lock up during lecture. What started as a process of rehabilitation quickly became a deeper study of movement mechanics, strength development, and sustainable training. Through disciplined practice and education, he rebuilt his own body and discovered the long-term power of intelligent training.
Since beginning his coaching career in 2020, Alex has worked with individuals and organizations to create structured, results driven training systems rooted in biomechanics, progressive overload, and practical wellness strategies. His coaching emphasizes education, ensuring clients understand not just what they are doing, but why they are doing it.
In addition to his work with Stoic Wellness clients and corporate wellness partners, Alex has competed in NPC bodybuilding, progressing from last place in his first competition to Overall Champion the next year and later placing at NPC Nationals. This emphasized the very same philosophy he brings to coaching: meaningful progress comes through consistent, disciplined effort over time.
Growing up in the Bronx and having attended Fredrick Douglass Academy in Harlem, Alex’s main focus is offer the kind of mentorship he wished to have access to in his teen years. As a result, he plans on opening up a brick and motor where his fiancé can run her PT practice and he trains clients throughout the day; in the evenings, the space would serve the community through a free after-school program where young people can train, receive academic tutoring from various tutors, and gain exposure to professionals across different fields who volunteer their time to speak about their careers and the practical realities of adulthood.
At Stoic Wellness, Alex’s goal is simple; help people become more confident in their ability to sustain fitness as a lifelong practice and never let the circumstances of your life (refer to the picture’s of his back & neck to the left) define who you are.

Sorine Cvitkovich
-
She grew up as a gymnast and was always drawn to movement, but her relationship with fitness deepened when she began her own personal fitness journey in college. What started as a way to apply what she was learning, quickly became something more meaningful. Through training, she found not only physical strength, but greater mental clarity, confidence, and a stronger connection to her body.
That experience continues to shape how she coaches today and ultimately led her to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University. Her approach is centered on meeting clients where they are, both physically and emotionally, and helping them build a sustainable and positive relationship with exercise. She brings a balance of support, accountability, and guidance, creating an environment where clients feel comfortable, challenged, and understood.
She works with clients navigating pain or past injuries, helping them rebuild trust in their bodies and move forward with confidence. She also has experience supporting pre and postnatal clients through pregnancy and their return to exercise, with an emphasis on patience, awareness, and long term health.
She especially enjoys working with people who are new to fitness or those who want to better understand how to move and care for their bodies. Her coaching emphasizes education and curiosity, helping clients feel more in control of their progress and more connected to what they are doing.
Her goal is to help clients feel more at home in their bodies and confident in how they move, both in and out of the gym.
